I had a bad experience with AUCTMARTS.

I bought HRC fairing for my CBR 1000 RR 2008-2011.
The quality is an approx fairing with the paint that shows imperfections all over.
The worst was the assembling. Two of the right side fairing joints jumped off and I had to drill new holes to place two ergal bolts just to keep it assembled.
However in general all the joints are in bad shapes.
The black plastics do not match for example the one under the lights that looks really bad.

The answer from the vendor was: there is no warrenty on plastics.
Completely out of mind considering that he sold me plastics.

Because in this forum can be read different experience with this seller, it's easy to understand that AUCTMARTS is nothing else than an internet site and that the job is commissioned to 3rd vendors according the occurrence. The luckiest one can enjoy a really nice fairing, the others unfortunately not.
we are here,
but may i know when did you receive the fairings?
and when did you email us about the problem ?
I can try to help and see what can we do for you~
we are not only the internet site and we are always here and once the customer has the problem and we must solve it for you~

There's nothing like the fit & finish of oem.

Where is the best place to buy OEM fairings? I need an upper and a right side as well as some of the under plastics for a 2014.

Not sure about the 12+ blade, but I just got an estimate on replacing almost all of my plastics, everything except the front fender and nothing behind the seat, but including the inner ram air ducts (no flappers, solenoid) and the total was $3,022. That only included $300 for labor, so we are looking at around $2,700. I got them to take 30% off the parts after telling them I'd just buy all the parts online from Partzilla and the like. Now they want around $2,200 for the whole job, so around $1,900 for the plastics. This is after me dealing with cheap aftermarket fairings from China and losing not one, but two fairings on two separate occasions with two different aftermarket kits at high speed.

THIS WAS NOT FROM AUCTMART, This was the result of an Ebay sellers plastics.

Well I bought those auctmarts fairings 2 summers ago. I did my research and knew what to expect and got exactly that. However so far they are looking the same. Nothing hasn't broke and everything looks ok, paint stays on and no cracks. Yes there is slightly more work when removing and installing them when doing maintenance but remember the price :D

So I cant complain, my oem fairings are stored for safe keeping and running happily with knock offs. Worrying a lot less on the track :D

Im about to buy Red/Black Fairing for my 06 + all new bolts. OEM would cost me around $3k CAD for the fairing and $150ish CAD for the bolts in central B.C Canada. I will be able to get a set of Auct fairing for under $550CAD with bolts.
Im going to liberally apply heat insulation(so it wont melt) and I have a heat gun and drill if the plastics are mis shaped from shipping.(HK to West Canada isnt very far relatively so they are not constantly being loaded/unloaded and smashed around. $3150 vs $550, OEM may be a bit better, but its not going to be a noticeable difference for the extra $2600 of OEM. For comparison I took off my old fairing in about 45 mins without breaking anything(I did a lot of airfix when i was young ;).

Ill let you guys know how it turns out in a few weeks, i might be singing a different tune.

I installed a kit from them and a few words of advice, it took about 5 weeks to recieve my kit, fit wasn't too bad a little trimming here and there, they are a lot thicker then oem so they aren't as flexible Which just makes install a little tougher. The inner black pieces up front didn't line up all that well but I got them to work eventually. The paint is very good quality but far from flawless, I had a section I trimmed to clear my header so I wanted to check the paint flexibility, I bent the shit out of it and the paint didn't crack at all until the plastic started to break even then the paint didn't peel off at all. Over all great quality of plastic and paint just don't expect perfection, I honestly prefer it that way because I can enjoy my bike so much more without worrying about it so much. Good luck and post up pics!!!

Auctmart said they ship 10-15 days after order date. 20 days after I ordered I emailed them then they shipped 3 days after that. They arrived the other day(just under 1 weeks shipping). I cant really blame them as I didn't order on Ebay and I couldn't figure out the website(my fault) so I ordered through email. In total from the time i ordered to the time it got to my house it took 1 month(if i called them on day 10 of the order i could have probably sped up the process 10+ days). If i was really pushy i think i could have got the time down to 2 weeks from order to front door. I get home next Wednesday so ill install them then.

Thanks Myzx6 for the tips.

EDIT:
Here is a pic of my fairings someone sent me. They said it looks amazing.

And for those who are mad at Auctmarts, a few suggestions.

--one of the most common themes of this brand of plastics is how easily they melt. So go buy some aluminum foil and glue it into the inside of the high risk plastic areas. Maybe use an extra layer of two. It'll take a little extra time, but it'll cost literally thousands of dollars less than if you buy OEM.

--use the AUctmarts rep here in the forum. He (or she?) is active on the board and always seems willing to help. It's hard to get that over the phone or through an email. But over the years I think he's represented the company both professionally and been courteous to a fault.

--lastly, understand that you get what you pay for. $500 vs $3000 means you won't get the same quality. But you should get decent quality and I think that's what Auctmarts delivers. Nothing more, nothing less. Otherwise they'd be out of business fast.
