^^ These guys are just tuning; doing dyno runs and then clicking buttons in (and limited by the constraints of) software other people wrote. They are not doing any of the reverse engineering required to expose maps/tables/switches in the ECU or to create the software needed to perform the flash. Dano's exclusively uses Woolich tuning/flashing software. ???? uses my kline flash software and TunerPro with a modified FT def to tune the SC77. Bren uses my canbus flash software and WinOLS with a def from his EU partner to tune the SC82. To be fair to Bren and their use of "developed", I'm sure they did some testing/debugging of the definition his EU partner created just like HRP & CodeFactory (in the EU) and LWS Tuning (in the US) do testing for me.I have a hard time believing that a single tuner (like danos or brent) do all of it by themselves.
The post right after this was someone that joined 15 hours ago and it’s their first post. I think I see what you mean here. There was a lot of stuff on the 1299 Ducati forum in 2019 about BT tunes and fake posters teh1337ftw as an example talking up Brent Tuning products but got caught out (that forum is a harsh environment) It's quite interesting reading when you get into it.
On pages 5 of the post it starts to unravel and I did start to grin a bit, hope you enjoy.

BrenTuning Flash Development (Tech Talk)
I get a lot of questions regarding the BrenTuning Flash. I wanted to dedicate a thread to explaining the details and steps it took to get the flash from an idea to the motorcycle. BrenTuning already has an amazing reputation with the Ducati Panigale. I haven't spoke to one person that was...ducatiforum.com
I don't agree. Knowledge is given. that's why you go to school, to be given knowledge. But I do see your point also.Knowledge isn’t “given”, it is learned. Figure it out or pay someone who can.
I started unbiased by showing a video to the community. Now that one tuner actually is helping with advice and the other is trying to argue with me and other people here, there's a level or respect and professionalism that fades away from MCU. I don't think people should be expecting plugs for tools that were paid for in full and I don't agree with a lot of what he said. Couple that with the fact that there's no data, videos or anything on the site he has regarding his tuning is also something I'm taking into account.![]()

I don't have a link to a thread in an S1000RR forum (still reading through these), but I know S1000RR members were warning Ducati members about BrenTuning.
I don't know you, but you come off the same way as the person in the two threads above. You don't seem unbiased at all.
I like to make sure the people that develop these tools are able to put food on the table and have already paid for a license from MCU Innovations. I haven't flashed my bike yet.
Just the post by the shop saying they squeezed 40whp out of an old, stretched bike would make me extremely skeptical. The threads that can easily be found in other communities only reinforces my skepticism.
Interesting thing about #170 is that it's the same bike getting tuned in this 650ib video that you're supposedly "waiting on the remote option" for. This one is 170 View attachment 261846
